Diaz projects happiness and creativity in his teaching at Serenity Bali. Blending Vinyasa Flow, Budokon, Qigong, and Inside Flow making the dynamic fusion between mindfulness, movement, strength & challenge into his class. With a 500hr Yoga Teacher Training under his belt and his background as a choreographer, he brings his class to sequence the poses together like a dance to a whole new dimension. He'll guide your practice out of the box and set your mind and body to expand all sorts of possibilities. His class is rather fun, playful, energetic and funky at the same time.

MANO

Mano Hara grew up in a small town in Bali and later moved with his family to Denpasar in search for a better life. At the age of 14, his friend introduced him to Martial Arts. He worked hard at the sport until an injury kept him from practicing for two years. In 1990, Mano began practicing yoga at Ananda Marga in Denpasar and enjoyed relief from his injury after one year. He tried Tantra Yoga and was then introduced to the Master, Shrii Shrii Anandamurti. He also practiced daily meditation techniques where he learnt from Ananda Marga. Since 2000, Mano has been teaching yoga in Bali and completed his training for aero-swing and aero-yin in 2016. He now lives the life he’s always dreamed of at Serenity Bali.

YOGI

Yogi teaches a variety of yoga styles - Vinyasa, Hatha, Beginner Yoga and Meditation. He was first introduced to yoga in 1992 when he met a monk from India through his friend. A few years later, in 1995, he began his Yoga Teacher Training Philippines and completed in India. Yogi wants his students to know that practicing yoga isn’t just to help them stretch their stiff bodies, but also to help them change their entire lives for the better. He notes, “yoga can change the way you see things, the way you deal with situations, the way you think, and eventually how you live your life".

CHITRA

Chitra’s passion for yoga started back in 2011. She realized how yoga changed her life - both physically and spiritually. From there, she decided to share her positive experience with others by becoming a yoga teacher. To learn more about yoga, Chitra travelled to India and completed her 200hr Ashtanga Vinyasa in Mysore. Later on, she came back to Bali for a 40hr Fly High Yoga training at Serenity Bali. She loves to teach, and through teaching yoga she can lead and help others on their yoga journey and make yoga a part of their daily lives. For her, practicing yoga is a beautiful connection with oneself, while teaching yoga is a beautiful connection with others.

KARTANA

Kartana has been practicing yoga since the age of 24. He specializes in Vinyasa form, an on-going stream of flowing yoga poses. Born and raised in Bali, Kartana completed his 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in Ubud in 2006 under the guidance of American Vinyasa veteran, Melissa Spamer (Lotus in The Flames) and acquired another 200hr YTT from Chakra Yoga School in Ubud in 2018. He appreciates the continual challenge that yoga presents both physically and psychologically. He believes yoga is to be the perfect complement to other forms of exercise as it improves flexibility, balance, and strength.

TAO

Tao has been practicing yoga since 2007 and fell in love with the physical and spiritual benefits instantly. For Tao, Yoga is no longer just a physical practice, yoga is a new way of life. Along his journey, Tao has studied Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and Fascia Fitness training. He now has the ability to integrate a range of practical techniques, at Serenity Bali, to help facilitate the health happiness and freedom of everyone he teaches. Tao’s teaching is inspired and informed by the philosophy and history of yoga, bringing integrity and clarity to his classes.

ELVINA

Elvina is a medical doctor. Her passion in yoga combines with her medical background make her yoga class unique with combinations of therapeutic asanas with western medical principles, traditional Chinese medicine, and ayuverda. Mindful movement is focused on generating the flow of chi or prana, influencing meridians that feed into all of our primary organs. Her teaching style is gentle and emphasizes on cultivating mindfulness that allows deep emotional release. At Serenity Bali, we are integrating body, mind and spirit.

KADEK MARTINA

Kadek Martina is Balinese. She was born in Ubud, Bali. She worked as a marketing manager in London and Liverpool in a private health care industry until she was diagnosed with poly cysts. She decided to returned back to Bali in 2011 and started her self healing process by practicing yoga diligently. Under the guidance of a "Asana, Pranayama, Mudra Bandha book" by Swami Satyananda Sarasvati, she practiced twice daily for a year. "The Guru will come when the student is ready". It was the time she needed to deepen her yoga practice by seeking for a Guru. Then the universe arranged that she visit the banks of Mother Gangga by the foothills of Himalaya at Parmarth Niketan Ashram Rishikesh. She practiced seva (selfless service), studied and taught yoga at the Ashram. After 2 years in Rishikesh, she returned home and recovered fully from poly cysts. She continued her practice and shared her experience in Bali.

Martina focuses her yoga class at Serenity Bali on suksma vyayam to build strong foundation of strength, flexibility and balance. She also teaches authentic hatha yoga, pranayama, yin, power, yoga nidra, and meditation. Her experience, knowledge and friendliness will bring joy to the class.

ASTRI

Astri was born and raised in Balinese culture, where Yoga is already a part of her daily practice. In 2010, an injury in her tailbone led her to deepen her practice in yoga. After 2-3 years doing self-practice, in 2016, she completed her 200hours with School of Sacred Art. She also accomplished her trainings in Yin Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Acroyoga, Thai Yoga massage and Fly High Yoga. The experience and tools that she has, she will share with you at Serenity Bali, in order to connect, bring awareness, explore, be safe, accept, and honour the body when it is in the present moment. Also, she is committed to providing extensive instruction and coaching, whilst motivating students to find inner peace and the path to their healthiest, happiest selves through powerful teaching plans. With it she holds a deep love and respect for the many arts of yoga, and all that they encompass.

KEMIE

Kemie has been a devoted yoga teacher and a student for 5 years. She taught in different parts of the world while working on luxury private yachts, in India, in Egypt and as well as online. She is passionate in teaching and practicing Inversion/arm balancing base yoga and pranayama/meditation. She focuses on incorporating modern neuroscience in her classes, combining different breathing techniques and neuro drills to help her students deepen their self awareness and progress most efficiently and effectively. QINO

Growing up overweight made Qino uncomfortable and not confident in his skin, which doesn't mean he didn't love himself, it's all about health issues. He has been practicing Yoga since 2015. It's a big life change for him. He started to understand that yoga helps him to embrace his confidence and to value himself not only for his physical body but also mentally and spiritually. For him repeating a couple of rounds of the classical sun salutation sequence A and B, is simple but so powerful as asanas (physical postures) to unlock the body from the unconfident feelings and also to warm up the physical body in a safe way. Now he is ready and would love to share his experience and expertise with others at Serenity Bali. Qino says "For me any kind of yoga style that you like, please do it with a humble attitude and positive intention, then you will meet your true teacher inside you, stay humble and be inspired!"

KALINA

Kalina is originally from Poland.
After many years of working in a corporate role, she decided to turn her life around and move to Bali in early 2022. Over the years, Kalina travelled the world and, while in California, fell in love with yoga. She completed her teacher trainings in India and Costa Rica, becoming a 500 hrs registered yoga teacher. Kalina continues to deepen her yoga practice in Bali, living a life full of yoga, surf and nature. Her mission in life is to inspire individuals through yoga to a healthy, balanced, and happy life. She loves to teach vigorous Vinyasa flows at Serenity Bali, focusing on mindful movement and providing individuals guidance to freely express themselves.

SALMA

Salma started yoga when she was 17 as a form of physical practice, and when she learned about its other aspects she fell in love with it.

Yoga for her isn’t just a sequence of asanas on a mat, yoga is a way to conceive life, it is being true to ourselves, to understand ourselves, to accept things as they are, so that we can set ourselves free from our own judgement.

Setting our mats down at Serenity Bali and dedicating the time to look inwards helps us recognize the power residing within, by moving our bodies in harmony with our breaths, our emotions and nature surrounding us as we embrace that power and create the space for ourselves to heal, to grow, and to find peace.

Elena has 15 years of rhythmic gymnastics experience, which led her to seek a deeper connection with her body. Transitioning from professional sports, she found solace in yoga a decade ago. As a yoga instructor for 6 years, Elena now specializes in hip-opening flows and yin yoga, helping students unlock new motion ranges and release emotions in adaptable, welcoming classes.

Dr Han is a medical doctor and a passionate free spirited yogi that views movement and breath as an form of art. He blends the artistry of dance into dynamic vinyasa flows, channeling graceful movements onto the mat. In his practice, he shares that the mental aspect of yoga is equally as important as the physical aspect of it and how it can be used to empower the mind, soul and the body. Dr Han specialises in fluid transitions between the asanas and body alignment at Serenity Bali.
