PROGRAM

What is Ujjayi breath and why is it important? What is the difference between Ashtanga Vinyasa and Vinyasa Yoga? How and when do you engage the bandhas? Only three questions we are going to answer in our Ashtanga course. This course consists of practice and theory modules to give you a deeper understanding of the Ashtanga Vinyasa system. Ashtanga Vinyasa Theory

In our theory classes we cover various topics. You will learn about the history of Ahstanga Vinyasa and then myth around the Yoga Kurunta. We cover Patanjali’s Ashtanga Yoga - the eight-limbed path of conscious living and spiritual practice. Apart from that we will cover

Eligibility Criteria

Before joining Anandam Yoga School’s 100 hours Ashtanga Training in Indonesia Course, you have to fulfill this eligibility criteria.

  • The minimum age to join this course is 18 and the maximum age is 65 years. If you are older than 65 please provide a medical certificate. Your safety is important for us!
  • You should be able to speak, read and write basic English as this course in conducted in English.
  • If you are pregnant you have to provide a medical certificate.
  • You must be physically & mentally healthy and fit.
  • You have to provide a medical certificate if you are going through any treatment or have any injuries.
  • If you skip classes or behave unethically during the course, you will not be allowed to continue course and the course fee will not be refunded..

TEACHERS


Sandeep Atri - Lead Teacher

Sandeep is your lead teacher for this 200hr YTT, with over eight years of experience in the art of teaching yoga, an E-RYT 500 & YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider) with Yoga Alliance. His teaching areas are yoga philosophy, traditional Hatha Yoga, Asthanga Vinyasa, Hatha Flow, Yoga-Asana Alignment, Arm Balancing, Pranayama and Meditation. Previously he was the Head-Teacher of Power of Now Oasis Yoga-Teacher-Training-Courses, Bali, Indonesia. Before that, he served as an Organizer and Lead-Teacher for 200hr and 300hr Yoga-Teacher Training Courses in Rishikesh Yogi Ashram, India as well as the Organizer and Lead-Teacher for 200hr and 300hr Yoga-Teacher Training Courses for the Anandam Yoga School.

In addition to Yoga, Sandeep is a professional chef for Ayurvedic, Indian, Vegan and Italian food. He worked in fine-dining restaurants in different 5-star hotels and restaurant-chains between 2010 and 2017.


Katharina Austermann - Anatomy & Physiology, Yoga Teacher

Katharina is the owner and founder of Anandam Yoga School. Specialising in teaching Yoga, anatomy & physiology, she has over five years’ experience in the art of teaching yoga. Her yoga specializations are Traditional Hatha Yoga, Hatha Flow, Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation. Her qualifications are an E-RYT 200hr with Yoga Alliance and a M.Sc. in Human Nutrition while finalizing her PhD in Nutritional Physiology and Pathophysiology. She is our mainstay anatomy and physiology teacher in Rishikesh Yogi Ashram and Anandam Yoga School. Other than Yoga, Katharina is a nutritional counselor for hormonal well-being, to live healthier, balanced and happier lives. Starting her nutritional counselling career from 2016 to 2019 as a research assistant for the Institute of Nutrition and Food Sciences, Nutritional Physiology, Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn, Germany.

Please book your flight to arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS). Transfer from and to the airport is not included. Serenity Eco Guesthouse and Yoga can pick you up from the airport at an additonal fee.
