In this course you will become familiar with the concept of Yin Yoga, a complementary practice to all the yang Yoga styles and highly recommended especially for those of you who practice Ashtanga Vinyasa to balance your yin and yang energy.

Yin Yoga Asanas

After this Yin Yoga course you will be able to practice and teach 26 yin asanas with variations and modifications. We all have different bodies and enter poses in different ways. Therefore, the use of props like blogs, bolsters, cushions and blankets is one key element of a safe and effective Yin Yoga practice

Yoga's etymology, its meaning, its goals, its eras, its paths, its Patanjali Yoga Sutras (Yoga Darshan),and Ashtanga Yoga's current relevance.

Asana Alignment

In our asana alignment lab we will break down the postural alignment of the postures and you will be taught verbal and hands on adjustment to guide your students safely through your classe

Fundamental Of Yin Yoga

We will teach you the fundamentals of Yin Yoga, its origin, development and benefits. We will help you to understand the differences between yang and yin Yoga as well as yin and yang tissues.

Yogic Anatomy

n the yogic anatomy classes of our Yin Yoga course in Bali we teach you the concepts of nadis, prana koshas, pancha koshas and the sariras.

Anatomy and Physiology

In the anatomy and physiology lectures of our Yin Yoga training in Bali you will learn what the difference between stress and stretch is, why Yin Yoga is so important for our spinal health, and the importance of fascia and the connective tissue

Eligibility Criteria

Before joining Anandam Yoga School’s 50 Hours Yin Yoga Training in Indonesia Course, you have to fulfill this eligibility criteria.

  • The minimum age to join this course is 18 and the maximum age is 75 years. If you are older than 75 please provide a medical certificate. Your safety is important for us!

  • You should be able to speak, read and write basic English as this course in conducted in English.

  • If you are pregnant you have to provide a medical certificate.

  • You must be physically & mentally healthy and fit.

  • You have to provide a medical certificate if you are going through any treatment or have any injuries.

  • If you skip classes or behave unethically during the course, you will not be allowed to continue course and the course fee will not be refunded.

Sandeep Atri - Lead Teacher

Sandeep is your lead teacher for this 200hr YTT, with over eight years of experience in the art of teaching yoga, an E-RYT 500 & YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider) with Yoga Alliance. His teaching areas are yoga philosophy, traditional Hatha Yoga, Asthanga Vinyasa, Hatha Flow, Yoga-Asana Alignment, Arm Balancing, Pranayama and Meditation. Previously he was the Head-Teacher of Power of Now Oasis Yoga-Teacher-Training-Courses, Bali, Indonesia. Before that, he served as an Organizer and Lead-Teacher for 200hr and 300hr Yoga-Teacher Training Courses in Rishikesh Yogi Ashram, India as well as the Organizer and Lead-Teacher for 200hr and 300hr Yoga-Teacher Training Courses for the Anandam Yoga School.

In addition to Yoga, Sandeep is a professional chef for Ayurvedic, Indian, Vegan and Italian food. He worked in fine-dining restaurants in different 5-star hotels and restaurant-chains between 2010 and 2017.


Katharina Austermann - Anatomy & Physiology, Yoga Teacher

Katharina is the owner and founder of Anandam Yoga School. Specialising in teaching Yoga, anatomy & physiology, she has over five years’ experience in the art of teaching yoga. Her yoga specializations are Traditional Hatha Yoga, Hatha Flow, Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation. Her qualifications are an E-RYT 200hr with Yoga Alliance and a M.Sc. in Human Nutrition while finalizing her PhD in Nutritional Physiology and Pathophysiology. She is our mainstay anatomy and physiology teacher in Rishikesh Yogi Ashram and Anandam Yoga School. Other than Yoga, Katharina is a nutritional counselor for hormonal well-being, to live healthier, balanced and happier lives. Starting her nutritional counselling career from 2016 to 2019 as a research assistant for the Institute of Nutrition and Food Sciences, Nutritional Physiology, Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn, Germany.

Please book your flight to arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS). Transfer from and to the airport is not included. Serenity Eco Guesthouse and Yoga can pick you up from the airport at an additonal fee.
