The Terms & Conditions of Serenity Eco Guesthouse & Yoga, officially known as PT. Harmoni Canggu Bali, apply to any person or guest who has commercial relations with Serenity Eco Guesthouse & Yoga. Person or guest refers to any person such as yourself, entering the premises or utilizing the accommodation or services of Serenity Eco Guesthouse & Yoga.
All Rates are quoted in IDR and are subject to 10% government tax. Rates are subject to change without prior notice
By reserving, staying and/or utilizing Serenity Eco Guesthouse’s facilities or services, you agree to the terms & conditions as laid out below:

Check-in/out
Check In time is 2pm and Check out time is before 12pm. No late check-out is possible, however you can store your luggage in our luggage room and use our public facilities for the rest of the day. Serenity has the right to charge a late check-out fee for overstaying past the check-out time.
Reception is open daily from 7am to 10pm, but no worries as Serenity Eco Gueshouse is open 24hrs. If you are checking-in outside of reception hours, our security will keep your passport as a guarantee in our safety box. Your passport will be returned to you when the reception is open to complete your registration process.
Single/Double Rooms
Single rooms are only for one person. Guests staying in the single room cannot bring friends to stay the night. Double rooms can accommodate two persons. Where available, an extra bed can be added to the room, the price is IDR 200,000.
All rooms provided by Serenity Eco Gueshouse are according to availability. Minimum 1 night non-refundable deposit (or 35% deposit) is necessary and the balance of payment will be settled upon arrival before checking-in.

Non-confirmed or unanswered room inquiries are not guaranteed reservations and subject to availability.
Guaranteed reservations require an email confirmation with confirmed reservation details received from info@serenitybali.com by the guest, as well as a cash/credit card deposit or verbal/written confirmation by one of our Serenity Front Office crew. In the case of deposit, please keep the transaction receipt as proof of deposit upon check-in.
The latest room rates and availability are available to be checked here or at the reception. Room rates can be changed without prior notice.
All prices quoted are in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).
All credit card payments will be converted to Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).
All settlements of room payments are due upon arrival before checking-in. Serenity has the right to refuse accommodation if the payment is not accepted upon check-in. In the case of financial complications on behalf of the guest, your original passport will be kept in our safety box as a guarantee and returned as soon as the room bills are settled.
Non-room payments such as massage, transport, rentals, laundry, natural products, that were room charged during your stay must be settled prior to check out.
Alkaline restaurant does not accept room charges and must be paid directly via cash or credit card upon ordering.
In case of cancellation, the following cancellation fees apply if notified:
- less than 24 hours notice = 35% cancellation fee
- more than 24 hours up to 7 days notice = 25% cancellation fee
- 8 or more days notice = 10% cancellation fee
For the refund options, there may be an additional charge if having paid by:
- cash = no charge
- credit card = additional fee of 5%
- bank transfer = additional fee of 5% + bank transfer fee
We do not provide refunds due to pest sightings which includes but not limited to spiders, ants and mice
Serenity Eco Gueshouse & Yoga cannot be held responsible for any loss, accidents or/and injury within or outside the premises;
this includes when using the safety box provided or our rentals (motorbike, bicycle, etc).
All guests are advised to have their own life and travel insurance.
Any damage done to Serenity Eco Gueshouse’s property, including bed, bed sheets and/or linen are required to be reimbursed in full by the guest.
Pets are not accepted; however, service dogs and unique circumstances will be handled on a case-by case basis by management.
There is a no sex, no smoking policy nor can alcohol/drugs be consumed or brought into any area of Serenity Eco Gueshouse. In the event of drunk and disorderly behaviour, security has the right to refuse entry into Serenity Eco Gueshouse.
Meditation Room
Our meditation room is open for all old students of S.N. Goenka and is a holy place. Group sittings on Wednesdays and Sundays from 17.00 to 18.00pm. The meditation room is strictly used for silent meditation.
We love showing off your smiles to the world. Thus we may use your photographs and recordings when it is related to Serenity Eco Guesthouse & Yoga and/or Alkaline restaurant, for advertising and promotional purposes, without prior consent. In the case where the guest is strongly opposed to a promotional piece, please do inform us via email or verbally. Serenity Eco Guesthouse & Yoga assures that all personal and private information will be handled in
the most professional and confidential manner possible.
These terms and conditions apply to all services offered by Serenity Yoga, specifically to open classes (defined as yoga practice without prior registration and published in form of a written schedule) and workshops (special classes, including special courses, e.g. beginner’s courses with prior registration). By purchasing a valid product that gives the customer (in following: student) the right to participate in any of the above mentioned services, the student accepts the following terms and conditions:
1. Individual rights of use
a.) Purchase of a valid card/long term membership or registration to a workshop or Beginners course enables students to use the facilities of Serenity Yoga during the course of the class/workshop, as well as before and after practice. The student may use the facilities of Serenity Yoga for the purpose of getting changed and taking a shower. If a staff member of Serenity Yoga asks the student to identify themselves the student is obliged to do so. In case of refusal, the student may be denied access to the studio and classes/workshops.
b.) Generally, all services offered by Serenity Yoga are available to students. However, a legal right to any of these services does not exist. The number of class and workshop participants is limited. Some services may require specific personal conditions to be met by the student. If personal conditions are not met, Serenity Yoga has no obligation to render services to the student
c.) Participation in classes and workshops is only possible if students arrive at the studio on time. Due to organizational reasons and consideration of other participants, students arriving late will not be admitted once classes/workshops have started unless the teacher is ok.
d.) The student is required to behave in a non-disruptive manner as to not disturb classes/workshops, not break any objects found in the facilities of Serenity Yoga and not affect other participants negatively. During practice students are required to keep noise levels to a minimum. Smartphones, mobile Phones and other electronic devices are not permitted in the practice rooms (shalas). Out of consideration for other participants, students are required to adhere to the above stated rules. In case of severe violation of these rules and other directions given by Serenity Yoga staff members, for example through threatening behavior, verbal and physical abuse, sexual predatory behavior, theft, and insufficient hygiene, the student might be prohibited from entering the premises of Serenity Yoga permanently, irrespective of any membership or pass they might hold. Serenity Yoga is not required to reimburse the students for purchased products in such an event. To avoid conflicts amongst participants and to ensure the smooth running of classes/workshops, Serenity Yoga further has the right to deny rendering of services without stating the reasons. In this case Serenity Yoga will reimburse students the aliquot part of their remaining membership or pass.
2. Memberships and Conditions
a.) Passes/Cards/Contracts
Students may choose from the following passes/cards/contracts:
If students are not making use of the services offered by Serenity Yoga due to reasons that lie within their control and do not warrant an extraordinary termination of the contract, students are not entitled for reduction of payment or reimbursement.
No extensions or refunds are given for passes. Passes, cards, and long term contracts are non-transferable. The right of usage can only be transferred for the attendance of workshops, before commencement of such.
Due to admission procedures also an already guaranteed place in the Yoga Teacher Training is non-transferable. Separate Terms and Conditions apply for the Yoga Teacher Training.
b.) Prices and Payment
All prices are displayed at the studio reception at Serenity Yoga, are final, and include 10% tax. Full payment of passes and cards is due at the time of purchase, which needs to be done before the commencement of classes/workshops. We accept cash, credit and debit card and bank transfers (e.g. when registering for a workshop).
In case of a discounted membership (e.g. a Kitas Discount) the holder of the contract is required to inform Serenity Yoga of any changes affecting the eligibility for such a discount. If a person is no longer eligible for a discount, normal prices apply.
c.) Freezing in case of moving away, travels, illness and accidents
In the event that a student’s permanent address changes from the one they had at the commencement of their membership at Serenity Yoga, which leads to an unreasonable amount of travel time to the studio (one hour driving time is considered reasonable), or the student suffers from a medical condition that prevents them from attending classes (medical note required) for at least one year, the student may terminate a long term contract at the end of the month. In case of a medical condition, contracts can be terminated immediately in form of a written notice. In the case of a cancellation students are reimbursed the aliquot part of the monthly payment or will not be debited for future payments.
d.) Limited number of participants/schedule changes
Serenity Yoga offers mostly open classes. This means that attendance of the classes displayed in the schedule does not require a prior registration, but may be denied if the maximum amount of participants for a class has been reached. To reserve a spot, students may register online up to an hour before class starts. The facilities of Serenity Yoga have a limited capacity and therefore participation in a class cannot be guaranteed, unless students reserve their spot through prior through online registration. Students are required to arrive to class on time and are admitted in the order of their registration.
Short-term cancellation of classes due to unexpected and special reasons do not result in a price discount or a cancellation of contracts, provided the schedule of Serenity Yoga is otherwise adhered to and students have the option to take other open classes instead. This also applies to other schedule changes made with reasonable consideration by Serenity Yoga.
e.) Cancellations due to important reasons (not for block cards)
1 month period of written notice
Without interfering with other rights granted through these terms and conditions, Serenity Yoga and students are legally entitled to cancel individual passes due to important reasons under adherence to the 1-month notice period.
f.) Cancellations of workshops, seminars, Beginners Courses
Workshops and seminars are to be paid per bank transfer before commencement of such. In case of cancellation due to medical reasons students need to show a medical certificate. The already paid fee can then be used for another workshop/seminar/course or will be reimbursed.
g.) Workshops
If workshops need to be cancelled by Serenity Yoga for any other reasons, workshop fees are also reimbursed or can be used by students for future workshops.
3. Waver of Liability of Serenity Yoga
Students are made aware that Serenity Yoga offers lockers for the secure storage of personal belongings. Keys for lockers are to be brought into the shalas. Serenity Yoga is not liable for the loss of clothing items, valuables, and other personal belongings unless participation of a staff member of Serenity Yoga can be proven. Students use services offered by Serenity Yoga at their own risk. Serenity Yoga is not liable for accidents and any resulting injuries. Serenity Yoga is further not liable for injuries resulting from improper execution of exercises and asanas. Please refer to point 6) of these terms and conditions. Serenity Yoga’s liability for damages to personal property or material objects is limited to cases of intentional damage or severe neglect.
4. General health of students
Through purchase of a pass/card or long term contract, the students declare that they are physically healthy and psychologically stable, and they can meet the physical and mental requirement and will only in this state participate in classes or workshops. Participation in classes or workshops under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited.
The services offered by Serenity Yoga are not a therapeutically treatment and do not substitute medical treatments under the supervision of a professional or prescription medication. Staff members of Serenity Yoga have the right to deny students access to classes and workshops if they have good reason to assume that the physical and/or mental condition of a student may inhibit their ability to participate in the practice.
Students declare that they are free from infectious diseases and that they have no medical condition that might prevent them from undertaking Yoga exercises. Students are required to make teachers aware of chronic diseases and other physical and mental illnesses that might impact the practice of other students or endanger them. Pregnant students need a medical clearance before participating in classes and workshops.
5. Privacy Policy
Student data might be used for own promotional purposes and are never shared with third parties. Students agree to have their data saved and stored in the electronic database of Serenity Yoga for the duration of 10 years after their last visit at the studio. All data is treated confidentially in accordance with the applicable legislation on data protection.
6. Other
There are no collateral agreements to these terms and conditions. Changes to these terms on conditions require a written change. If individual clauses of these terms and conditions change or become invalid, other clauses are not affected and remain valid. The clause that becomes invalid is to be replaced by one similar in economic interest and reasoning. The requirement for a written form is fulfilled by communication via email. In cases where email addresses are known, all communication between the contractual parties may take place via email.

Cancellations through the client
Bookings
- Ideally bookings are made 24-hours in advance via wa, telephone or email yoga@serenitybali.com, but we receive bookings any time and do our best to make it feasible.
Waiver of Liability
Serenity Eco Guesthouse & Yoga, their teachers and therapists, any other cooperative companies, sports trainers, agents are not liable for any injury or losses sustained during, before and after training. To formally acknowledge the above, Serenity Eco Guesthouse & Yoga, instructors will present an ‘activity consent form’ to the guest prior to commencing a session. This form will serve to reconfirm final guest numbers and acquire signed consent of the liability waiver.

- If the teacher coincidentally lives in the opposite direction, reverse transport charges apply.
Cancellations

- A late start to a class or therapy will result in a shorter session time.

Please ensure that the product that you're buying is in the expected condition. Purchase of any shop items means that you agree to the Shop Cancellation Policy
- Restaurant Cancellation Policy: as our food and beverages are freshly made we do not provide any refunds or cancellations once the order is made. If in case the dish is not to your expectation you can ask the manager on duty to find a solution on the same day and before closing time at 9.30pm
