TERMS & CONDITIONS
Costs
- Deposit: US$ 500 (to be paid with your application)
- Teacher Training in-person: USD 1,670 (incl. deposit & tax) for 200h and USD 2,600 (incl. deposit & tax) for 300h
Deposit
* A USD 500 deposit is required at the time of your application to process your application and to secure your spot in the YTT. Please pay the deposit directly through this link or transfer into the account of Serenity Eco Guesthouse & Yoga (see account details in MOP).
* Deposits are non-refundable, however, they are transferable to another available Yoga Teacher Training course, with a minimum of 2-month notice prior to the start of the Yoga Teacher Training Course (YTT).
* If, for any reason, we do not accept your application, we will refund your deposit. If the training does not take place because of less than 5 students or Force Majeure, we will refund your deposit. In all other cases, we cannot refund the deposit. We will deduct the deposit from the total tuition of the course.
Deposit

• The remaining balance is to be paid 1 month before the Yoga Teacher Training course starts
Remaining Balance/Payment schedule
The remaining balance is to be paid 1 month before the course starts. All training fees are due in full 30 days prior to the start of the training. When booking less than 30 days prior to the start of the training, payments are due upon applying.

Transfer Fees
Please note that you are responsible for any transfer- and other fees arising out of your payment to us. Serenity Eco Guesthouse & Yoga is not responsible for such fees. Please add these fees to the total amount. For unpaid transfer fees, we will collect them in cash at the start of the training in addition to any bank transfer fees of your payment for your accommodation.
Investment Return Policy (exclusive deposit)
- Up until 2 months before the training – 100% return (excl. deposit)
- 2 months until 1 month before the start of the training – 70% return (excl. deposit)
- 1 month until 2 weeks before the training – 50% return (excl. deposit)
- after 2 weeks before start of the training – no return
Cancellations
Serenity Yoga reserve the right to cancel a Yoga Teacher Training. In the unlikely event that the training does not take place/ is cancelled for any serious reason from our side (eg less than 5 students participating or Force Majeure), we will fully refund your deposit or any other payments. But costs associated with flights, transfers or any other extra cost incurred will not be refunded to you.
Cancellations after the training has started
* If you cancel your training for private, health or work reasons after the training has started, you may finish the training in another Serenity Bali Teacher Training, without any extra costs. (As long as you have paid the standard cost / unless you choose another and more expensive training).
* A commenced training is due in full, there are no returns of payment once you have started the training.
What is not included in these fees?
Transport at excursions, entrance fees for temple and dance, food in restaurants, costs incurred during excursions, massages, therapists, transfer fees
Mandatory Attendance & regular practice
The mandatory presence is 90% of all direct contact classes. Please be be present and participate in all classes at the best of your abilities. If this is not the case then you cannot be certified. If for whatever reason you are not able to participate in the classes, Serenity Eco Guesthouse & Yoga in cooperation with Anandam Yoga School will work with you on a one-on-one basis to find a solution. It is your responsibility to sign up BEFORE every class. If you do not reach the 90% , we cannot issue a certificate and we will work out an alternative plan for you.
Additionally we recommend a daily yoga practice at home minimum 2 months before and “for-ever” after the training :)
Waiver of liability during the teacher training
Students participate in the training at their own responsibility and at their own risk. Serenity Eco Guesthouse & Yoga in cooperation with Anandam Yoga School have requested from you a full travel insurance for the time of travel in Bali, Indonesia. Serenity Eco Guesthouse & Yoga, Anandam Yoga School, our staff, our teachers and any other mentioned companies’ staff who we choose to work with in this YTT (now named as “we” in this paragraph) are not liable for the loss of clothing items, valuables and other personal belongings unless our participation can be proven. Students use the services we offer at their own risk. We are not liable for accidents and any resulting injuries or for injuries resulting from improper execution of exercises and asanas. Our liability for damages to personal property or material objects is limited to cases of intentional damage or severe neglect.
Others
We reserve the right to change the location of the training, the accommodation, the program and the teachers spontaneously without prior notice.
The minimum number of students for the training is 5 students. We will cancel the training, and issue a full refund (inclusive of your deposit), if we receive less than 5 registrations.
We reserve the right not to hand out a certificate to students who did not follow the rules and missed more than 10% of the course.
YTT ACCOMMODATION TERMS & CONDITIONS
• The published YTT rate does not include accommodation at Serenity Eco Guesthouse, but does include the Vegan Breakfast Buffet and Airport Transfers.
* If choosing to stay with us, dorms or shared rooms will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
